Get into the act with Shahrukh Khan at Zee Cine Awards 2011

SINGAPORE: Get ready to shimmy with Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan when he descends in Singapore come January next year, along with the rest of the glitterati of India's movie-dom.
During a stop in Singappore on Sunday,Khan let slip some details of his upcoming performance at the Zee Cine Awards 2011.
"We're going to try and make it a little more creative, in terms of having some interactive bits with the audience," said the dashing 45-year-old.
"It'll be something from "My Name is Khan" (Khan's controversial hit movie). The songs in that film are a little more gentle, so I think they'll try and get a lot of girls to join in and make it a big event."
Hosted by Ashkay Kumar, the Zee Cine Awards 2011 will see popular Bollywood stars like Arjun Rampal, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and even 'King Khan' himself, Shahrukh Khan performing at the Sands Grand Ballroom, the largest ballroom in Southeast Asia.
The Sands Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a massive theatre to accommodate the dazzling large-scale performances taking place at the event, which is one of the biggest Viewers' Choice awards in Indian cinema.
Khan, the star of of blockbuster Bollywood hits like "Veer-Zaara" and "Om Shanti Om", added that he was impressed by grandeur of Marina Bay Sands resort where he stayed during his Singapore sojurn.
"I think it's fantastic! I was just on the phone to my wife (Gauri Chhibber) saying it is one of the most fantastic hotels I've seen."
Khan plans to have his family with him when he returns next year for the awards.
"I want to go up and check the SkyPark, I'll take my kids up there to swim when I come back in January" he said of the hotel and venue of the Zee Cine Awards 2011.
Tickets to the Zee Cine Awards 2011 are on sale now through the Marina Bay Sands resort.
