The second highest paid Asian actor Rajinikanth’s Endhiran has made box-office Baadshah Shahrukh Khan to re-look at his upcoming film Ra.One. SRK’s home production film is also a sci-fi superhero film and the team feels that the success of Rajini’s film will lead the audience to compare both the films.
According to reports, King Khan, director Anubhav Sinha, sound engineer Resul Pookutty had a lengthy meeting at SRK’s house on last Sunday. They had a brainstorming session discussing about the movie, especially about the quality of the film and its climax.

Shahrukh Khan back to YRF camp
By Niraj Kumar on October 8th, 2010
Shahrukh Khan signed the next film of Yash Raj productions which will go on the floors next year. It’s been quite sometime that the combination of SRK and YRF has delivered a hit film in the industry. The recent and the past few projects of the YRF camp has failed to grab the attention of the viewers. Films like Dil Bole Haddipa, Badmaash Company, Lafangey Parindey fell head over heels on the day of its release.
Yash Raj Films (YRF) is now trying bringing back the same reputation of the name which it had and took advantage of it to drive off the rest of the production houses with its film release. It is one of the most renowned and prestigious production houses of the Bollywood industry.
Apparently, the production house decided to go back to its lucky mascot SRK as almost all their recent projects have bombed at the box office and they desperately want a hit.
The last successful project YRF and SRK did together was ‘Veer Zaara’ in 2004. Though, almost all the films with SRK turned into huge success, 2008’s ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ failed to add another feather in YRF’s hat.
Rs. 1 crore superhero outfit for Shah Rukh in Ra1
By Contributor on March 27th, 2010
Shah Rukh Khan is always with his imaginative stuff who is planning to stun the viewers of ‘RA 1’ flick with his rubber silver blue suit worth of about Rs. 1 crore.
This special suit is made of latex like material and is flexible enough to protect his internal body organs while strong enough to bear the thrusts and pushes, which he could face while performing his superhero acts in the film. Sources close to Shah Rukh Khan’s production house reveal that the suit had to be especially created taking King Khan’s body measurements in Los Angeles, and obviously the process was very painful for even SRK. In fact, Shah Rukh Khan had to literally face the ordeal for one hour while latex like material was being poured in a big tank.
“The suit is steel blue in colour and made of a special material like reinforced latex, meant to provide both flexibility and protection. It acts as a tough exoskeleton to minimise external injury while being flexible enough not to hamper body movement while performing stunts,” According to source.
Shahrukh choosing Arjun over Riteish for Ra1
By Contributor on May 10th, 2010
Shahrukh Khan was good friends with Riteish Deshmukh and Arjun Rampal. While his friendship with Arjun is still intact, Riteish seems to have left with a bitter taste in his mouth.
The reason behind the rift seems to be Shahrukh choosing Arjun over Riteish to play the villain in Ra 1 in spite of Riteish being the first choice. According to sources, Riteish was chosen for the negative role. Even director Anubhav Sinha wanted Riteish to do the role as he had already worked with the actor before in Cash. Riteish was finalized for the project and his remuneration had also been fixed. However, Riteish then read in the newspapers that Arjun had been chosen as the villain in Ra 1.
Arjun was unsure about playing the role as he was suffering from a back problem. He was chosen later though. And while Riteish is upset about his ouster, he hasn’t spoken a word about it to SRK. He mentioned it to a few close friends but he feels Shah Rukh or Anubhav should have informed him that he would no longer be doing the film.
Shahrukh signs Vishal Bharadwaj for his next flick
By Rahul Yadav on October 9th, 2010
It seems Shahrukh Khan and Vishal Bharadwaj are becoming thick buddies by the day. Now, the latest news coming from SRK’s camp is that the superstar has signed Vishal Bharadwaj to direct the next project for his home production.
In the past too, Vishal and SRK had expressed desire to work with each other but the things never materialised. Now, the latest teaming up news is seen as a major step that can strengthen the ties between SRK and Vishal even better.
The planned film will be a story based in a small town as per the initial reports. Nothing more is known about the project so far. The project will take off after SRK finishes with his current commitments
